I guess someone was worried that Donald Trump would push the wrong button and the GPS from a Chinese Corporation might think you are in Iran.

More likely the seagulls ( who are more accurate than any pidgeon) were active.

Just realised the OP lives in Melbourne, Australia so perhaps the Japanese Naval fleet are on their way.

I would not worry about the Japanese Naval fleet, they know where their belly button is.

 

It is the US / UK Fleets that fires blanks or has questionable ability to get their arsenal to go in the right direction.
