Unlocking the car when the battery is flat?

Featured Replies

Out of interest, if the car has electronic central locking, is it possible to manually lock/unlock the car if the battery is totally flat?

From the driver side, you can always unlock the door with the key.

Once in, you can release the bonnet and replace battery or jumpstart it.

And from there, you can use the central locking to open the other doors.
