Do MkII Roof cross bars fit MKIII?

Hi 

 

I'm looking to get some cross bars for the roof rails on my MkIII VRS Estate.  There seem to be quite a few MkII for sale second hand but not many MKIII.  I can't think there is much difference between them. Does anyone know if MKII bars would fit on a MKIII car?
