Has anybody fine this please? I would like to fit it but I am struggling with camera choices. The best options all seem to be generic RGB ones, can somebody please recommend a adapter ?

Following this, Recently picked up the 315 and wondered the same. I was going to buy a cheap and cheerful one to see how I get on.

The issue seems to be RGB to VAG interface. The information on the ones on AliExpress for example say they are only for the yellow socket RNS315 but mine's got a black socket and that's the only one I have ever seen on radios for sale.

Yeah exactly the same, even down to the DAB connector 🙂

I would imagine the connection is almost universal to a degree across the whole Vag platform,I wouldn't worry about the colour just make sure that connection mates up My worries are running that wire from the unite to the back boot(I'm dreading it).

The interface does not seem to be the same there are different ones for the RNS510 Vs the 315 for example. Which camera are you looking at ? A generic RGB one or a proper VAG camera?

You won't get a generic one to work with the VAG connector, well thats what I have read anyway.

Yeah did read that you need an interface of some kind...... Clicked on the link and see that it looks pretty cool.....my only concern is the RNS315 shows a picture of a RNS510, which I have, but they should show it on a RNS315 as well

 

Really dont need a camera on a small car like the Fabia, and the way the hatch sucks up all the road dirt, will always be dirty..................... but I do like adding bits......mmmm

There seems to be identical models available for even cheaper than the ebay link above however some don't have the LED  light build in, Obviously these sit in the recess where the reg bulbs sit. I wonder if anyone has pics of how this looks at night? As sad as it sounds I don't really want different shades of light/output of light as I'd rather they match. Wonder what the options are?.

I feel exactly the same..........they should make another blank to match but with the same light in it.

Has anybody gone for one yet? I have been looking at the interfaces on AliExpress and they all say not compatible with black socket on RNS315 🤔

So why not get one from the above link you posted ? they state it works, if it dont send it back....

Yeah that's probably the best route, the aliexperess ones were cheaper though. 

theres a moto I always go by.....
