Karoq 2019 standard stereo specs

Featured Replies

Hi, my brother just bought a 2019 karoq with upgraded Canton speakers and the normal navigstion stereo that includes Bluetooth, the android option to view the screen of the phone on the screen of the navi and so on.

Does any one know the audio specs of the stereo? I'm interested in the Bluetooth version and the DAC used for playing from USB sticks.

The specs for the Karoq Canton system are here - scroll down the page to see: https://www.canton.de/en/skoda-en

I also have the Canton System but I find it harsh and toppy so I use a graphic equaliser on the iPod Music to pull out around -6dB at 3.5Khz and it now sounds much better. I still wish the boot subwoofer could be turned up a bit though. For me the best sound settings are Driver: Front Speakers and no Surround Sound. Subwoofer on +9. Balance on default. EQ -1 on the mids and -2 on the treble. With Bluetooth you'll hear slight audio compression (sound levelling) but with a cable it's purer. I also gently prized off the dashboard centre speaker cover and disconnected this speaker as it was narrowing the stereo image and not needed in my opinion.
