I have a Skoda Octavia 2006 Laurin & Klement , the problems with the car are :

1. When you try to reverse it doesn t show or beep nothing.(parking sensors are working I ve check them).

2.When I try to adjust the right mirror,both them are moving (left and right) opposite direction. But if you select the left one ,it goes only the left side.

3. The driver seat has 3 memory adjustments..can t set them, if you press set doesn't beep. Someone memorized 3 adjustments, but I can t set new ones.

1 - Might be worth getting it scanned with VCDS, something as simple as a speaker will disable the parking system. It uses a separate speaker so even if the stereo is fine, it could be the problem.

 

2 - That's normal. You can change the behaviour using VCDS, on later cars, it's also possible to change it using the instrument cluster.

 

3 - I haven't for any first hand experience with memory seats, again, a scan might give some clues.

 

Probably worth adding where in the world you are as a local member should be able to do a scan for you

 

Thaks for you reply, forgot to specify that the previous owner chanced the radio..it s not the original unit..maybe he forgot to connect some wires.

 

 

If it's an aftermarket headunit, then it might not display the reversing sensors but you should still get the beeps.
