I've just replaced the driver's door lock actuator (the old one stopped unlocking with the remote).

Everything now works fine with the remote but when I unlock the driver's door with the key, both front windows open fully and the alarm is not deactivated.

 

Can anyone help please?

The lock return spring is not resetting the switch, if you turn the key the other way all the windows will close.

I tried your theory out this morning and as usual, Sep, you are right. 

I couldn't now be bothered to remove the actuator and return as faulty. I normally use the remote. I was just trying the key out of interest. 

I hope the remote keeps going.
