Central locking and other electrical issues

Featured Replies

Afternoon. I'm new to this forum, only recently having bought a 2015 Citigo from salvage as our second car. Thanks for having me!

The car was a bit of a mess but I've put replacement doors, airbags, seatbelts in and straightened up some panels to get it looking right but I'm having some electrical problems.

When it was in an accident they cut the wiring loom to detach the drivers door and I'm not sure if some damage has been done to the main computer: the central locking doesn't work at all, if you press the key fob the indicator light flash, but nothing happens.  Also the central locking button in the cabin doesn't work, nor does the boot release button. Fuses all seem fine.

Also... the passenger side electric window doesnt work despite that side of the car not being at all damaged.

Re the central locking, one of the replacement doors I installed has a manual lock rather than purely electronic, not sure if this would affect it? All other electrics are fine.

If anyone has any advice it would be massively appreciated as it's really got me scratching my head!

Thank you.
