head unit turns off after 30min?

Featured Replies

i got a skoda columbus(rns510 unit)  and if i turn off the car, but waiting in it, for some reason, the radio turns off after half hour. is there a way i can change that time?  I mean in VCDS?

No, that's normal behaviour to prevent a flat battery.

isnt there a way to make that time actually shorter? cannot be coded any way?

Can't be changed as far as I know. It's not a function of the Columbus, it's the car going to sleep and shutting thinks down

If you are in the car waiting as you say then just turn the radio off.

Or have I missed something?

well actually that was just for describing, i installed an amplifier, and the remote wire is a live wire. but after i turned off the car, removed key, the amp is remaining powered for 30mins. thats why i wanted to change it to less time
