Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Ownership Experience

Featured Replies

Not that I currently have a pot to p!$$ in, but I am looking at potential future replacements for my Octavia Scout, and the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 4 1.5 AWD CVT appeart to fit the bill.

Just wondering if anyone had any experience of it, good or bad.  Unlike with Skoda and Suzuki, I cannot find a decent Mitsubishi owners forum.

Many thanks,

Fin

Car magazine have run one as a long-termer recently - just in case you weren't aware...

PS - what was the Suzuki forum you were looking at? - I've yet to find one that covers the latest swift...

@Fin69 - Can't help any more, but if you can name a supplying dealership I may have heard stuff from friends or relatives.

Cheers, for the heads up on the Car Magazine long term review.  It just reaffirmed that it is in Pole Position as my next vehicle when funds allow!

The forum I follow is more for the Vitara, but they do discuss other Suzuki models, and one of the contributors used to work until fairly recently for Suzuki so there was a lot of 'insider' tips and tricks;

The forum was actually suggested by Lady Eleanor.

I'm probably looking at going through a broker.  The people I used before are still undercutting Carwow.  Not sure if this also applies to the Carwow dealers, but I get discount on any options or accessories; as well as getting £4.5k off the price of my Scout, they also threw in free metallic paint, and discounts on the front parking sensors and side airbags. Just over £18k against nearly £23k, which at the time was cheaper than 2 and 3 year old models.  Skoda dealers told me to do one when I asked for discount.  So I did.

The Mitsubishi dealership local to me is run by Park's of Hamilton.

Well, Parks are better than Arnold Shark, but that's like saying that a Bombay Bad Boy Not Poodle is better than a chicken curry one because it anesthetises your taste buds faster.
