Which sat-nav/touch screen works in mk2 octavia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I’ve been wanting to upgrade the standard stream radio in my 2008 Octavia VRS to a more modern one with sat nav etc, has anyone got a recommendation as to what works, maybe a mk3 octavia columbus or bolero unit is what I’m seeing?

thanks

Dealers could supply a Kenwood double din unit which included Sat Nav but it wasn't cheap but should come with at least a 12 month warranty for peace of mind.

Yeah they’re serious money! I like the columbus and bolero units but I’ve seen people say parking sensors don’t work etc once installed

You're possibly looking at one of the Xtron (other brands are available) android head units many of which are meant to be compatable with the differing systems in pre facelifted and facelifted cars ... I mentioned Xtron simply because they seem to be the most popular or possibly common brand searches return
