I have a 2005 Fabia one, 1.4 16v. The suspension has had it, I would like to upgrade to VRS spec suspension or similar. Can anyone advise if this is possible? Or point me to existing pages. Thank you!

You can buy lowering springs, uprated dampers and coilover kits for the 1.4 from the usual sources (like in the Site Sponsor fora here). I don't think a vRS suspension is a good idea though, because the nose weight with the 1.9TDi is greater.

Sachs dampers (OE replacement) and Eibach springs would be a fair move.

 

Coil overs would also work (V-Maxx, AP, KW), world is your oyster really.

 

I'd budget for all the extras too like top mounts and bearings, anti roll bar drop links and give all the bushes a good look over too.

Many thanks for this! I think I need bumpstops as well. I assume that to get my car the same height as the vRS, I need to drop the suspension by 30mm. [I will be getting vRS wheels also. Thanks again]
