I'm now onto another vRS 1 year old like a Challenge but without DCC - but with heated screen.

These are two parts I would need to make it match as close to my possible new order .... I can't find any prices online but I'm not used to this.

Skoda parts has those as an electrical towing harness at €181 and a towing accessory bar €251 respectively

Strange things to be on a challenge VRS!

nininet.de will give you prices based on a part number. Also: just google it, you should get a price immediately. I get

https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/octavia-3/spare-parts/accessories/towing-hitch-144.html as a link for the first part number, for example.

My take on this, though it may be wrong: 5E is the model type, 0 is for both LHD and RHD; 5E1 is LHD ONLY, 5E2 is RHD only; 055 is the location (door, bumper etc.) and 204 is the part itself. If I remember correctly, even numbers are the right side, odd ones are the left. Always that's in the direction of travel. As an example, and A2 part; 8Z0945096C  is a right-side rear light cluster. 8Z0945095 is the left hand one. C implies it's been revised three times (from no index, to A, to B, to C). Some parts are on index M or higher, and they may or may not be compatible to those without indices.

So: indices are important.

And just because it's a 5E doesn't mean you won't see 1Zx or other part number codes.
