Radio... And back to Carplay

Featured Replies

Hiya. I'm new... Etc.

Name's Rob.

Kit... Superb mk3 with the 9.2 columbus unit plus canton.

I'm sure this is an easy answer but I was listening to DAB and wanted to return to Carplay and apple music... However, I had to unplug and replug my iPhone this morning because the DAB radio won't stop playing!

Am I being a little bit of a newbie here? Or is this a known bug that firmware could eliminate.

It's hard to search with carplay in the search terms so apologies if this has been asked before.

Cheers all!

Hi Rob

I have just bought a 2016 Superb Mk3 with Columbus and Canton but not managed to get the CarPlay working yet...

You might need to go through the Menu to return to CarPlay?  I would try either pressing the Menu button beside the screen and then scrolling through to the CarPlay menu

or else hitting the Media button until you select the USB.  I haven't found a way to change sources from the steering wheel, unfortunately.

The user interface does seem to have a few quirks, but I've managed to find my way round most things.

Good Luck!

Kevin
