I am looking to buy a brand new rain/light sensor for my 13 Octavia 1.6 tdi Elegance (hatchback). Looking online I came about this on Autodoc: https://m.autodoc.co.uk/metzger/8715254 is this one a good one to buy? It seeme d really cheap to me compared to the price quoted by the dealership around £400. If not which one would be a good one to buy.

I had to replace mine. I got it from eBay and it was sent from Germany. I just searched the part number on eBay and I think it was around £42 delivered. 

 

Fitted it around a year ago and no issues. Don’t get ripped off by the dealers. Can’t believe that quoted you £400, wow!
