Airport Drop Off & Pick Up Charges & Free Zones

Featured Replies

I suppose this is to discourage people taking their horrid, polluting cars into the area and causing traffic jams, instead paying £43 for a one-way ride on the airport-run coach service... having had to take their car into town and paid for town parking next to teh coach station, of course?

Why would so many people want to fly overseas anyway... it's all full of foreigners!!

Maybe they want to know what love is?

East Midlands is actually £3 for 10 minutes, you literally have to chuck your passengers out, then dash to join the exit queue and hope you make it before the extra £1 a minute kicks in.

@Ttaskmaster

Lots of foreign destinations are full of foreigners from the UK.

That is where UK holiday makers tend to go, where there are other British Tourists, or British Citizens residing and working.
