I know you can disable it via altering a voltage setting, but is there a way to have it remember it's on/off status? So if you turn it off, it stays off until you turn it on? I've now decided it's dangerous on an auto after a couple of close shaves this week. One, pulling out of a side road on to a main road but at such an angle that to see the traffic coming from the left you have to look over your left shoulder. You edge forward and then when there is a gap, you floor it, only to find it just decides to cut out right at that moment, leaving you coasting across a main road with no power for a second or two. The other was similar, but at a mini-round about, I coasted up to it and it cut out just as I floored it to go across. I like it generally, it's good for the environment. But when I turn it off, I want it to stay off until I turn it back on again.

I guess not. But thought I'd ask before i disable it completely.
