Fuse driver's door?

Featured Replies

Hello all, i was thinking i might have run into the failing micro switch problem, on drivers door.

But on further inspection i noticed, that neither my drivers door or boot lid are shown as open on the maxi dot display, when they are in fact open?
So i was thinking could this be due to a faulty fuse, or is it possible that both the microswitch in the door and the boot lid are defective, or linked to eachother in a way?

Please help if you know something, if further info is required please ask.

Regards, Andreas.

I assume the door wiring loom has been inspected in the door shut?

For the drivers door You mean?

No i have not inspected these, do i need to disassemble the door to check?

Central Lock, 4x Windows control, alarm red signal Works only things that i noted doesnt Work is alarm when headlights on maxidot graphic always closed door, and interior light always om when set to auto☹️

Very common issue on the Fabia 2. Pop the rubber bellows back and inspect the wiring harness.

I Will check up on that, i suspected a faulty microswitch since i read that was a Common issue with the symptoms i experience on Fabia 2😬 thank You, do You think it could be related to the boot lid issue??

Yes it's possible if the drivers door lock is not getting correct info / messages (due to broken loom / wires)  as thats the master.

...The door loom is usually always the first place to look if any related electrics fail or are intermittent as the wires here fracture easily and often.
