CTKSK02 To power factory amp

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

wondering if if anyone could help me out with this.

I recently got a present of some Chinese brand head unit with sat nav and all that but as per expected no sound when I plugged it in. I have the skoda “sound system” with the amp under the seat.

I have tried my own my own search but just going around in circles.

I contacted a local car audio store and they advised all I need to get everything to work is just buy the connect2 CTKSK02

can anyone on here confirm if this will work or if they have figured a way around it?

cheers 👌🏻

Forgot to mention it’s a 2006 pre fl that had the stream head unit 👍🏻

Any pictures?

I think the CTKSK02 is only really to convert CAN-bus signals from the car into a ignition live/illumination etc for the standard ISO connector. I'd be very surprised if it was able to send CAN-bus messages to get the amp powered up.

Yeah that’s spot on pal, just got an email back from connect2 confirming the same thing!

Cheers for the reply
