Could this be the issue at last !!

Featured Replies

Just looking through pics of my dv change, noticed theres a bolt or valve missing lower right of dv !! Could this be my boost leak or is it just a missing bolt only ??

And yes i did fit the other bolts holding dv in place 😂

The diverter is supposed to have 3 bolts, I can only see the one. Are all 3 in place and firm.?

The bolt missing is for a support for the oil or coolant line.  It wouldn't affect boost.

How do you know you are low on boost. Can you here it, have you logged boost or monitored it live?

Have no access to mapping or logging, all 3 bolts are in place, photo was taken during instal. As for boost i can hear it building, it picks up sweet till approx 3k then nothing. Just unplugged maf and it drives alot better. Still not enough power to spin the wheels in 1st but def up on what it was, i am assuming as now my eml lights come on it could be limp mode / reduced power due to unplugged maf ?

If you’ve changed the diverter and checked all pipe work for a boost leak. You can’t hear any hissing. Then it maybe a faulty wastegate which wear the bushes and don’t properly close.

maf would likely trigger eml . Not sure about limp mode. It may extinguish itself after plugging back in.
