Door warning light on dash

Featured Replies

This cars beginning to be a pain in my a** but after having everything sorted A couple weeks ago I’ve gone out for a cig in my car and gone to start and the battery is flat so it won’t start. So I’ve got out locked it fine and it’s saying through the window on the dash computer thing that one of the doors is open. I’m thinking that little light thing in there has drained the battery but I’ve checked all the doors and they are shut. Has anyone else had this problem?  The car is a 2010 Skoda fabia VRS!  The light is still on now with everything locked up and closed

not too sure about the doors but have you installed an aftermarket stereo?

could be a faulty door sensor or boot one. Problem is, they are not as easy as old school type ones, where you just swap it out by unscrewing it from the door/frame, unplug, re-fit new one. That said, does not your version actually TELL you which one is at fault? I have simple system so just one light for all four doors and boot. Some show which door or boot so its easier to start the fix.
