Drivers side window stutters

Featured Replies

Had this issue on and off for ages, but recently it became permanent. I’ve swapped the switch and no change.

anyone aware of a simple fix or am I onto replacing the motor and wiring?

It’s not stuttering anymore! Will have to see if it returns to the intermittent issue

how did you calibrate them?

Close the window

hold one touch ‘up’ for 10s

close

although they don’t have a permanent stutter now. They are back to intermittent refusing to work. Plus the one touch close never works

yes that is right, i turn the key one way for 10 secs then turn the key the other way for 10 secs then that should do it.

Hi, been following this thread, my drivers window doing the same , goes down just fine but will not go back up without stuttering all the way unless I put it down and hold button for 10 secs then it goes up fine once , then next time it is back to stuttering, tried new switch same thing , tried the 10 second key trick still no good  ,by the way window goes up just fine with key from outside

any help appreciated thanks

if its the passenger side then there was another thing i did which was take the switch out and remove the connector from the motor and cleaned it then plugged it back in.

Hi, it is the drivers side I will give this a try thanks ,will update here

Clean switches, clean windows (This can cause more agro then you'd think, especially if you park under trees) And check door bellow wires are not fracturing!
