Hi Guys,

I have a 1996 Skoda Felicia combi with the 1.3 carburetor engine and I will swap it by a 1.6 litre Volkswagen Gold mk3 engine,

So the point here it's ok to insert golf engine with the felicia transmission or should I brought the golf engine with it's transmission??

Go for Golf engine + transmission as a whole.

Will there be a difference in performance if I leave the Skoda Felicia transmission instead of putting the Golf transmission ?

What engine/transmission are we talking about?

1998 Vw Polo mk3 6n1 1.6 AEE Engine .

The Polo gearbox is PoS, so Felicia would be a better choice. However, you need the adaptor plate and flywheel that were used in 1.6 Felicia to make the AEE work with Skoda gearbox.
