Are there any recommended sources online for a replace clip-in drivers only top carpet mat as all I can find are full set of 4's?

Carpet!? Car carpets these days are normally one or 2 pieces for a full interior.

I've never seen any mats sold in anything less a pair, genuine mats in full sets of 4. To be fair its a good idea as often only the drivers mat worn out. Quite a few ebay sellers make mats - ask them if they will do drivers only.

Good idea but I think some or most of the eBay sellers are probably just resellers rather than working with weaving machines or however these are produced.

Ebay sellers. I made this 'mistake' a few years ago getting mats for my Civic. Thought id bought a set to recieve a drivers mat only. The bigger sellers of mats on Ebay must have machines because the combinations of colours, threadwork, thicknesses and personalisation for each car let alone additional 'personalisation' would be a massive stock hold. Spent a bit extra on the thicker piled carpets - had the car nearly 7 years/70k and still in good nick - better than OEM!
