Problem with abs.

Featured Replies

Hello,Im a new driver, just got myself a skoda and been driving it around for 6 months, recently i started having a problem with the abs,i start the car in the morning and go,and after like 2-3 minutes ,the abs light lights up.I went to see if they can diagnose it ,and they checked the cables ,and after that didn't work out since they couldn't find anything, they told me we should change the sensor,so i did ,i didn't cheap out on it and bought a decent one ,they changed it but its still on ,and they don't seem to know what the issue might be,so before going on wasting more money,i wanted to ask around in forums. Thanks in advance!

I'd suspect a slow blow in the strip fuses. They're in the engine bay, beside the battery box on most models.

Also, could you fill in the "location" and "model" fields in your profile please? It helps with giving you model and/or nation specific advice.

I checked it out,but there didn't seem to be any problem with them.

A slow blow doesn't manifest itself as an obvious melted gap.
