Advanced screen with cam and satnav?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

my octavia 2010 L&K 1.8 tsi seems to have very basic screen with radio function , CDs . Although has got the rest of the standard buttons.

Online, There are some advanced screens with with multifunctions ( reverse cam, Sat Nav, bluetooth, sim card .. etc) and the are claimed to be suitable for 2010 octavia.

Some are from previous cars

Would anyone recommended them?!

would car shops like (Halford) or local garage be able to fit one?

Has anyone done updated his car screen  in such method? Where and how much it costs?

Thanks

Hi Waskod..... Driving a facelift MK2 you're lucky that the majority of aftermarket head units running on Android will be compatible with your car ... Xtron are one company who get fairly good reviews and you can find there home page on Facebook with links to their website or look them up on eBay ... Costs can vary but  good unit will be £250-£300 with extras for the reversing camera and DAB radio etc on top of that
