Induction kit

Featured Replies

Im looking to get an induction kit for my VRS.

alot of people say get the ITG maxogen because its got much less restrictions.

But im really keen on getting the VWR one as this setup below is super attractive IMO.

has anyone got any ideas/links how to achieve this look? Must i relocate the battery? Ideally i’d want to put it in the boot but whats the procedure?

also anyone got a VWR intake for sale/can guide me on the sales section on this forum?

Grant Webster on the MK2 facebook page is selling a VW racing line kit filter , That or the RTMG filter are recommended however hey both need they battery relocation tray which RTMG sell for £80  that turns the battery 90 degree's.

I Myself made by own battery relocation setup, Similar to the RTMG one but had to fabricate my own brackets....Took me a weekend but cost me a third of the price.

I have a ITG Maxogen, I’d imagine they’re just as good as any other CAI although I’m pretty sure I remember reading something on Lucifers that the ITG was better.

i did need to purchased a new filter for the inside and it did cost me £90 so either get one dirt cheap or get a brand new one.
