i have a skoda octavia VRS:) just got it lol n i was wondering what is the best window tint to have is, the colour of the car is silver and if ne1 has ne places n numbers of the best places for it let me no plz.

Hello and welcome.

There have been a few threads on tints - have a play with the search filter and it should point you in the right direction. Here's a thread about tints, but there are others.

I think there is legislation on this now - again you might be able to find some guidelines on here somewhere. I believe that you have to have a lighter tint (sometimes given as a percentage) on the front door windows, but you can have darker on the back.

Might be worth giving a general idea of your location in case there are any recommended tinters in your area.

i have a silver vRS with a black coloured tint on the windows... 20% on the rear and 40% down the sides.

basically you cant have tints on the fron side windows unless its classed as security film... mine is :)

the tint on mine has a reflective quality in it so in direct bright sunlight the windows appear darker than they are... in low light they appear fairly clear.
