Engine change

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2010 superb 3T5, 1.9tdi BXE, and sometime after the new year I am going to be changing my engine, so bit of pre-planing. Basically best way to do the job, engine out from above, or lowered out from below, or straight out from the front (where radiator sits), which is best. Thinking of bringing eng/gearbox in one. Have seen VW posts getting eng out from the front with Radiators out etc and that looks a good option but can I do it that way on my car??. Any help would be great fully appreciated, many thanks ps if ur wondering why the change! My eng has 209K on it, needs cam doing, and turbo changed, and while it's running ok is down on power and mpg dropping a bit, plus I have got a Good motor with only 96K on it,..
