I have recently bought a 2016 Fabia, active 1.2TSI manual.

The car does have factory parking sensors mounted on its rear bumper, but they don't seem to work at all, not even a small beep upon shifting to reverse gear.

Last owber claims she disabled them by the push of a button because it annoyed her, so I do believe they work but are just disabled, but she does not remember where is this button located and it is nowhere to be found. I have gone through all the owners manual and the internet and got no clue. To mention that this is the Active version, because the owner manual says that in the Style model there is a button to turn it off. In Active it is just not there. I have thought about fuses or wiring but I have no idea where to look, where is this fuse located or where the  correct wires are.

And another thing to mention, behind the left (driver) passenger seat there is a small wire with a connector that comes out of the plastic under the window, the plastic on which the storage compartment light is located. I couldnt find anything to associate this cable with. It is also stuck in this plastic but only 2cm out of it, but there is nothing in this area that could connect to this cable, there's just one end.

Does anybody have a clue?
