Fabia MK3 dash

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the front dash panel passenger side above glove/storage box could be replaced, gave a friend a lift and they had a bag on their lap which must have had a buckle or some thing that has scratched the front panel above glove box, it seems to be metal finish not plastic, car is a MK3 se l hatch 2018, dealer won't even look at it and wants us to take car in with a possible replacement of the whole dash (mega money)

It almost looks as if you could pull the decal off but not sure any help would be appreciated

I'd like to know if it can be removed for a vinyl wrap? My wife finds the reflections (Fabia MC) very distracting and a matt wrap would be very useful.

Yes it can, you need trim removal tools from eBay. Order replacement trim from TPS or directly from the dealership. It clicks back really easy.

Thank you.

Thanks for the info, managed to get a replacement dash panel from Skodaparts.com in Europe, as main dealers here were not interested unless I booked the car in with them and could not even  give me any sort of estimate of the cost for the part or fitting

Skodaparts. com  were great after giving them the chassis number they sent me a link for the part, the part was £80 plus £9 delivery which arrived 4 days later, it was very easy to fit just needed a panel tool and pull the panel out from the bottom taking care when removing from aroung the display screen, new one just pushed back into place job done the hardest bit was paying for it !!

Glad you managed to get it, bit steep price to be honest.
