It's just a variable resistor

Things like this are sold all the time on ebay. It's just a resistor which fools the engine into thinking it's permanently cold. This causes the engine to continuously overfuel like is does on startup.

Even if it did add more power (which it wont) it will simply cause bore wash and damage the engine.

DO NOT BUY.
