New owner .. finding a Camera installer

Featured Replies

Hello Guys,

We have just managed to find a 2017 Yeti Outdoor Diesel 4x4 Drive SE plus with 19k on the clock.

Very happy with it -- looks really cool.

I want to get the Camera module fitted/updated/working on this but want to use an installer.

Can anybody recommend an installer in the North-East ?

All roads seem to load to VAGTec but I'm finding it difficult getting any information from them.

Thanks in advance.

Mick

Have you seen this thread in the Guides section:

It really isn't difficult to do it yourself.

What do you mean by "camera module"?  Is this for integrated systems such as speed limit sensing, so built into the car and windscreen?  Or a dashcam, as described above by @Llanigraham?

Or even the reversing camera which I specified for my car and I now think should be standard for safety in every car?

It's the proper reversing camera and functionality - linked up to the Nav/Radio screen that I'm look for.

There's one year of warranty left on the car so I don't want to install anything that might scupper that.

It should help when backing up alone to attach the caravan - be nice to see the hitch.

Can I suggest you edit the title and content in the first post to add "reverse camera", then it is plain what you mean.
And I think there might be a thread in the Guides section about this.

That's a good idea .... I just can't see how to edit the Heading .....
Will look in Guides.
