Front and Rear Brake Pads

Featured Replies

Good evening guys

looking at ordering front and rear pads from car parts for less and have given me many options of different pads, little confused which pads will fit my car. My reg is AK58GZZ elegance. Any help would be very appreciated.

thanks

as I said in your other post, go to a proper shop.

Ditto...

its just a sister company or Eurocarparts from memory. Maybe try to contact one of the many aftermarket companies advertised on here or failing that go into a local eurocarparts and ask. My experience of the ‘input your reg into a website’ is pot luck and rarely accurate.

Take your wheel off. Look at the shape of the pads. Take a pic on your phone. Put your reg into the Eurcarparts box. Choose pads the same shape as yours from the options. Really it's not that difficult!

same shape but different size ??  poor advice - there are people reading this who havent got a clue.  I have no idea what fits his car either, but I know someone who does - his local motor factor. Use the services of a proper shop, theres nothing to gain by saving £3 online and getting the wrong part.

When you click the fitting info button on the different pads there is a vehicle code. Check the codes and check for the corresponding code on the label inside your service book (label might also be on the car, in the wheelwell maybe).

Um no. There are no two same shapes but different sizes. The shapes are very different when you look at the mounting lugs so easy to identify.  We are talking brake pads not ISS widgets.

Maybe the guy doesn't have a local motor factors near him. I know I don't anymore.  It's a real PITA. Used to think I was the only one who went in sometimes. The owner eventually hanged himself in the shop! Very sad.
