Help!!

Featured Replies

What would be causing an implausible signal P0116 code on a 1.2 3 cyl 2003 fabia if its not the sensor itself, changed it twice, once with a budget part and second time was expensive brand! Keep getting the code. Its accompanied by a P0172 code which reads "system too rich bank 1"..

Also have another code which i believe to be a seperate issue that im having trouble with is P0302 "Misfire on cylinder 2"

I have put bosch ignition coils and spark plugs in and yet keep getting the code after clearing it! Any help would be appreciated!

Ive only had the car 3 months and from the third week of owning it the car would always die after about 5 seconds of running from a cold start and when this happens and i do finally get it started i notice that the rpm sits at 900 when it usually sits just above 1000 from a cold start, so thats helping me believe that its temperature related!

I also have from day one had problems with my coolant temperature guage, sometimes it reads at optimal temperature way too quickly when my fans are still blowing cold at which point if i turn the engine off amsld start it again it will read rock bottom for ages! Even when it gets hot!

Thanks for reading and amy help is appreciated!

Also to add it drives absolutely fine, i get a bit of hesitation here and there but i cant knock its performance, it jusy idles like a bag of ****

Have you changed the coolant temp sensor?

Yes mate twice!

Oh sorry, wasn't sure which sensor you meant. You should really use a genuine one though. Others can be rubbish.

The one thats in there now was the most expensive one i could buy from euro parts, cant remember the brand

Strongly recommend getting a genuine one.

Should be part number 06A 919 501 A

Is there anything else this can be?

Can it becausing misfire cylinder 2?

Think you might have two separate issues. Misfire could be a dodgy valve.

Compression leakdown test.
