Retrofitting Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

Featured Replies

Sorry to resurrect this topic guys (about me down if you'd rather I start a new one). I'm looking at fitting ACC to a 2018 Kodiaq (it has front assist).

I'm looking at the Kuf kit but hoping someone can point me in the direction of someone who can unlock the software side instead? (I can get eBay stalks).

I'm also struggling to work out if the mod will work in the UK and how to tell if I have the right ABS module? I'm guessing the latter is readable via the OBD port?

Thanks guys, the Mrs really wants me to get this sorted (newborn now here!) So any pointers would really help.

Hello, I've sent you a DM, but for the benefit of anyone else looking at this thread:

- I used a guy called VAGRetrofit (telegram @vagretrofit), but you can find other remote retrofitters by searching online.

- Yes, this works fine in the UK, and you can also upgrade to pACC if you have a front camera.

- Your retrofitter will be able to check compatibility if you send them an Autoscan of your car's modules. This can be done using VCDS - check elsewhere on this site for a map of members who own a VCDS cable - or by using an OBDeleven dongle. I think you may need a pro license for OBDeleven to do an autoscan (not sure though), but you can at least get info about the individual modules without needing a license, which may be enough for this purpose.
