Featured Replies

Hi All

having a senior moment here, how do I access the menu to adjust the steering settings please, light heavy etc...

thanks

James

In the drive mode selector (eco\normal\sport\individual)

choose individual, then you can set the steering from there.

No just adds artificial weight when you turn the wheel. We have most settings in Sport on our 1.5TSi manual Karoq SEL but keep the steering in normal to make parking easier. Still on original Michelin Primacy tyres and now after 2 years car is at 23,400 miles.

Ok shy363ps, thanks my May19 Karoq auto has been fine only done 8500 miles so far and tyres look ok at the moment. Its had the 24EV update and other than being a bit sluggish off the blocks when very cold, its been a good car.

Have a dashboard rattle which hopefully they will sort for me on first service later this month, only other observation is from cold loud sqeal from back brakes on reversing. It goes quickly, must be something to do with the auto handbrake I guess.

cheers

We also had the software/alternator patch update thingy about 6 months ago and now much more pleasant to drive from cold. Key fobs started misbehaving for us about 4 months ago and finally today car was back in for 30 minutes this morning for coding and we now have 2 brand new key fobs which will hopefully talk to the car and be on first name terms (everything crossed). Technology is great when it works. Both of our cars now have KESSY and electronic handbrake but wife has 6 speed manual and mine is the latest DQ381 7 speed DSG which works very nicely.

Disappointed with 1st service, the dealer was unable/unwilling to sort out the dashboard rattle, no fault found was the curt reply,as for the loud squealing on reversing from the brake pads, its normal they said.

Does anyone on here know how to access behind the sat nav/dashboard consol without wrecking it, looks like I will have to try and sort the dam rattle out myself....not best pleased...

cheers

You can get to quite a bit of stuff / space behind the middle dash area by removing the dash top storage box.........I did a post on how to remove it (quite easy) about 10 months ago.
