The Octy mk2 we’ve acquired has an insanely annoying shhhhh noise coming from air getting in through the rear drivers side door.

 

its similar to when a window isn’t quite shut. My missus recons it’s coming from the lower part of the quarter light glass area.

 

any ideas? Previous owner recons he found bits of glass and there is evidence of the drivers door and rear door being forced as there are scratches on the inside of the door and on the door jam area.

 

Both doors seem to shut flush.

 

trying sellotape on different parts of the door to see if I can narrow it down. Will use a leaf blower maybe to simulate wind at the weekend.

Pretty sure it’s beem covered on here before it’s the rear door alright and involves a piece of wood and a hammer to make adjustments and/or some black silicone over the outer rubber on the quarter glass. Please do a search.
