There has never been a better time to start driving EV. 

 

Good article with great information on the cars, one key thing to be aware is the follow: 

Be wary of an older EV car with a low mileage because examples of battery damage through insufficient charging are not unknown.

So unlike ICE cars, you should not buy dealer showroom cars that may have been sat at 5% charge level. The Nissan Leaf I looked at when my car was in service was sat in the showroom with very low charge level.
