Intermittent Windows, Heater & Rear Windscreen Wiper Issues

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Haven't been able to find anything similar to this I think but if its already up apologies and would be great to be pointed in the right direction!

I have a 04 Fabia mk1, I'm having issues with the front electric windows, the rear windscreen wiper and the heater. When I turn the car on initially none of the 3 work though after driving the car for 15 - 20 mins they will all work start to work in tandem, usually a few mins after the engine gets up to temperature. The heater is starting to cause real issues with seeing out the front windows in the cold so trying to get sorted. I'm not very knowledgable the inner workings of cars so really have no idea where to start so any indication of a starting point would be great.

I'm also getting damp passenger side carpets of recent (front & back) I'm unsure if this is related but thought I would just get all the info out there.

Thanks in advance!

@AB23 - Well, I'd suspect a clogged pollen filter and the ubiquitous leaky door seals for the demister and puddle issues, and possibly the electrics too.
