So after spending days looking for the correct oil and filter for a 15plate VRS all was ordered from an Audi dealer for quantum oil long life 3 and filter 03l 115 562.

 

Ordered this filter PN as after looking on various sites including a Skoda parts site this was the one.

 

However taking my old filter out this has a black set of teath and it spins in the plastic housing.

 

The one I ordered has no teeth and doesn't spin

 

Anyone else had this issue.

 

Struggling to cope after dropping the oil out and fighting with the wind to find this problem.

 

Going to need the correct part asap or knowledge of the one I ordered being the correct one just slightly diff fitting ?

I got mine from euro car parts when doing a oil change on my petrol VRS. 

you dont say if diesel or petrol, i think the part number you have listed is for the diesel filter, petrol filter p/n is 06L 115 562

Genuine Skoda filters are made by MANN, I'd order the one above from Eurocarparts with their next day delivery.

 

How come you ordered them from an Audi dealer?
