Don’t know if anyone can help but other than my 245 I have a 17 plate 1.6 td Octavia had eml on code came up faulty egr valve had new one fitted at my expense “ouch “ light back on same code????? Any idea 💡

Sorry switched from diesel in 2015 because of issues like the one you describe to save myself any future grief. Sure a 1.6TDi owner will be along to assist you though. Yeah very happy with the Superb it really is the supreme allrounder. Gave a family a lift to church on sunday and a little chap who is only 18 month's old didn't want to get out of his car seat because compared to his father's 7 year old Suzuki it must have seemed like a spaceship and always surprises unsuspecting first timers who enjoy the ride and performance.

Did the garage who fitted it reset the basic setting/adaption? Also check all the vac pipes to the EGR.
