Wheel center cap colour?

Featured Replies

The center caps on my seat fr wheels look quite tatty especially as I have lost a second vrs badge so now down to 2. Got some simple carbon effect wrap to see how it would look and it's proven harder to effectively cover the whole cap due to the built in bolt covers. Here's a pic of my first attempt. Options:

1. Persevere and doo all 4 wheels with the same wrap and hope it holds

2. Forget it all together

3. Pop down the hardware store for some black spray of some type

I'm leaning towards option 3 and save the remaining wrap for some of the internal bits like round the gear stick.

So I decided to spray them black matte. Looks ok and finishes the wheels off far better than a slight miss match silver colour and only 2 tatty badges.

Will get them done/do a better job when I get the wheels refurbished later in the year.  I might even come up with a stencil design to make them look a bit better and have them done professionally.
