Skoda Finance Contact in Lock-down

Featured Replies

Hi All

Does anyone know of any way to get in contact with Skoda Finance in the current lock-down? Our PCP is finished on the Citigo and we cannot sort it out. As the replacement vehicle we wanted is not available currently, we took out finance with Skoda to cover the final payment until we can get the car we want.... This appears to have not been processed. I get that things take longer in lock down but this is now urgent, we are two weeks past the end of the PCP and I have not been able to get hold of Skoda Finance at all. Website is useless. The contact number gives no options for getting through to anyone, only options for making payments. Any help in finding a number or email address to get through to an actual person would be greatly appreciated.

I managed to get hold of someone in the dealership who sold us the car via their emergency contact details. They sent someone into the dealership to access the secure financial systems as there are a number of their customers in the same boat as us. As luck would have it, we got an email from Skoda FS with the new finance agreement shortly after I posted this plea. Things do seem to be moving, but at a glacial pace. Neither us or the dealer have been able to speak to a person yet!

Final update. Experience has shown that VWFS in general have basically cut-off all telephone contact. The only way to get a response is to use the contact form on the website. Response is 7-10 WORKING days after that, so if it is an urgent issue it is ****e to say the least. Our issue appears to be resolved and we have an email confirming this. The process took almost a month instead of the two days mentioned by VWFS (Skoda Finance)  pre-lockdown.

The dealer has been very helpful, insofar as they can. Mitchells of Ellesmere Port sent someone in to the office to deal with my issue (and other folks' with similar issues) but the dealer portal showed pretty much the same as the customer portal. The dealer call centre number had the same issues as customer call lines, it went through a menu with no option to access a human.

Good Evening, everyone. Hope all is well.

Now, I have a querie...

I have a PCP and want to reduce my monthly payments. So, just before Easter I went onto the Skoda Finance site and filled in their form to make what they call a `Partial Payment`. I sent it off and haven't heard a thing since.

Now I know we live in crazy times at the moment, telephone calls are not an option and things are taking a lot longer than usual.

I did read that I should not send a request for an update (for obvious reasons) and they would get back to me.

Does anyone have an understanding of how long I am likely to be waiting for a response?

Many thanks in advance.

Not related specifically to Skoda, but I've recently submitted information requests about holidays to two companies and in their emailed acknowledgments they have all given a specific number of days to expect a response within;  28 and 56 days respectively.

Both companies have also stated not to submit update requests to reduce traffic and avoid duplication.

If you didn't receive an email acknowledgment from them I'd check your spam folder just in case.

Thank you for your reply.

Nothing in my spam folder.

Being as I cant phone or even email...I suppose I'll just have to be patient...something I'm not all that good at!!!

It took two weeks to hear back from Skoda Finamce after we filled out a contact form asking for update. It took them a month to actually process our changes. If you have not heard, chase anyway you can, it is up to them to reply promptly if they don't give target response times. Covid-19 or not, prompt service is essential to business survival.
