Bluetooth and satnav not working

I have just purchased a 2016 plate Octavia Business addition I have a couple of issues. The telephone and bluetooth media does not work. After pressing the phone button, the screen displays 'Telephone not available'. Selecting media bluetooth it shows 'Unable to switch to Bluetooth'. There is no phone icon when you go through the menu (its missing). The guy who I purchased the car from said it was working fine. He recently just changed the battery on the car. Any advice would be appreciated.
