Sun blinds

Featured Replies

I bought these on eBay a couple of days ago and they were delivered today... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Yeti-5-door-2009-On-UV-CAR-SHADES-WINDOW-SUN-BLINDS-PRIVACY-GLASS-TINT/171335376789?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

 I see they're now  £82.00 whereas I only paid £69.00 for them.

Whilst the blinds themselves are fine, the clips which are supposed to retain them aren't. The two for the rear screen blinds fit onto the blinds but it's impossible to fit them to the car without scratching the trim on the tailgate; as I discovered when fitting them.

The clips supplied for the rear door windows cannot be fitted onto the blinds. They're not large enough to fit over the wire frames of the blinds. Since they're made from spring steel, they can't be bent to fit. Also, the way that they're clearly intended to fit into the window seals is less than satisfactory.

Has anyone else bought these and fitted them successfully?

TIA

I had that brand of shades in two of my Octavias and in the lad's Citigo with no problem

D'ohhh.....!!!   A very nice man on one of the Yeti Facebook groups posted a pic of the correct way to fit the clips.  😊
