Can anyone confirm that the letter at the end of the "VW" group carstick surfstick part number indicates which marque and or entertainment system it works with.

I have a 000.051.409 F  which is branded Skoda and was hoping to use it with a VW T-Cross Infomation system but CarNet doesnt connect

I believe the VW marque version end with an "E" .

I mistakenly though the letter just related to updates ie F more recent than E more recent than D   etc.
