Decided i would start a project thread for the inevitable upgrades/modifications that will happen to my Octavia SE Technology. Only bought it on Friday and got front strut brace and wind deflectors on the way.

Wind deflectors fitted but no pictures as yet.

 

Also changed the front grille surround from the chrome to the black:

So, to update this, i’ve had it lowered for about 12 months on Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks, i’ve fitted bonnet struts, front strut brace, wheel spacers front and rear, wind deflectors, colour coded badges, changed the chrome lettering and front grille surround for black and fitted the front Maxton splitter.

I’ve got some new front fog lights on the way and keep toying with Eibach front and rear arbs and also a remap. I said this was staying standard when i bought it. 🤦🏻‍♂️😆

Also amazed to be able to fit x5 alloys, x3 with tyres, and a gearbox into the boot without putting the backseats down or removing the parcel shelf. I completely underestimated the size of the boot on these.

Update from last year, set of Turini’s came up for sale with winter tyres on and i couldn’t turn it down.

 

 

Another update from last year, added a boot lip spoiler.

I had my Sprint Yellow vRS done with Gtechniq, and the Golluf done with Kubebond, both when they were new.  Well worth it IMO and lasted really well 👍

No picture but i’ve removed the ‘snow guard’ from the air box and replaced the filter whilst i was at it. 
 

Next job is to open up the passenger side of the air guide and buy the trim piece that helps direct more air towards the air box. I’ve heard it referred to as the P600 mod but i’m not sure if that’s right or not.

Latest addition, headlight eyebrows… 

 

Also forgot, i added the ‘dynamic’ mirror indicators from Kopacek as well…

 

 

LED number plate lights from Skoda and LED boot lights from Kopacek also fitted…

 

 

Neuspeed torsion bar upgrade fitted…
