Broken Wire

Featured Replies

I got in my car today and the electric windows wouldn’t work. When I got him from work I had a look on here for some possible solutions to this. I came across a thread where someone recommended checking the loom plug and when I removed the rubber gaitor on the drivers side and I saw there were a couple of broken wires (pictured)

I can’t find anything on line to tell me what these wires are for. Can anyone tell me?

Further Information on my window issue, they both go up and down when using the key to lock/unlock the car from outside. Neither switch inside the car works.

Thanks.

Join the colours together by soldering in some wire and see if your windows work. They need fixing anyway and there's every chance it's your problem.
