@deano23 I'm also having thoughts about the actual failure being in/with the starter inhibitor switch. I'd certainly have started there rather than loading the parts cannon with big expensive stuff like battery, starter motor and gearbox!

I will call the main dealers tomorrow and let them know what you have all said thanks
